Hello all. The Easter Egg Hunt went really well. We had 40 kids show up, several that we hadnt seen before. It was a whole lot of fun and the Gospel went out. Sunday was great too. We had so many people in the church. Of course, I have never really understood why so many people decide to go on just Easter and Christmas. It never ceases to amaze me why they choose to go on those days. It is almost as though they feel a responsibiblty too. Or maybe they just think that it gives them favor with God in some way, shape, or form. But God is pretty clear that He wants a heart of "I get to", Not a heart of "I guess I have to." People in times of trouble where church is practically outlawed still go because they love and adore God and want to spend time with Him in worship and with the other fellow believers. Church is not just a place to go to make you feel better about the life you are living. It is not a penance, It is an obedience. It is a joy. It is a gracious way to came together as Christians and worship the Lord in Spirit and truth. It is a place to learn together how to grow and discern "As iron sharpens iron." Think about that this next Sunday. Be different. Go Back to church and keep going.
